The Glamorgan Moth Group are a group of local moth enthusiasts devoted to the study and conservation of moths within the Vice County of Glamorgan, in south Wales.
Species account from Moths of Glamorgan (Gilmore, Slade & Stewart, 2009):
First recorded in Wales in 1973 (VC35), and subsequently discovered in Glamorgan at Crymlyn Bog on 9.vii.1997 (MJW). Since then it has been recorded from Roath, Cardiff with 1 on 16.vi.2003 (DRWG), Maesteg, 1 on 3.viii.2004, Hensol Forest, 1 on 10.viii.2004 (Butt. Con.) and Bridgend , 1 on 13.vii.2005 (MCP). The larvae can be found feeding on larch.
